Wayans Quitting Lethal Weapon

First Clayne Crawford was fired from Lethal Weapon.

Now, Damon  Wayans tells Eurweb: “I’m going to be quitting the show in December after we finish the initial 13. So I really don’t know what they’re planning, but that’s what I’m planning. I’m a 58-year-old diabetic and I’m working 16-hour days… I’m done. Like Murtaugh said, I’m too old for this… I’m going to return to the stage and try to find my smile again.”

Asked if he was kidding, Wayans shakes his head and says “No”. Representatives for Wayans, Warner Bros. Television, and FOX have yet to comment. The show’s third season premiered late last month.

Well that looks like a wrap for the TV series of this property.  Now all we need is Lethal Weapon 5, which is probably closer than it’s been in 20 years right now.
