TOP FIVE: SOPRANOS MURDERS
1) TONY SOPRANO MURDERS RALPH CIFARETTO
The show was based around a posse of scumbags, where even the leader’s psychiatrist at the end concedes that she is dealing with a sociopath, who was using her to justify ‘heinous acts’. But among scumbags, Ralph Cifaretto was probably the worst.
As Soprano beats and chokes him to death, he rants about the murder of the beautiful female creature, but is in fact referring to Cifaretto’s murder of a young pregnant woman.
Cifaretto had it coming, and for a while after the murder of the girl, viewers expected it to happen sooner. Of course, Chase held out and delivered the goods.
Other whackings worth mentioning? The murder of Phil Leotardo, Tony Blundetto and Richie Aprile.
