Top Gun: Maverick has been delayed.
The movie has shifted four months from July 2nd to a new date of November 19th. Honestly, it’s probably a smart decision by Paramount Pictures. With Covid-19 still heavily a thing, it may not matter how good the film is with a July release, it could very well drastically draw below its potential.
Top Gun: Maverick is an important film for our niche, we should like to see it do well so that it can influence the backing of other similar tentpole movies.
At the same time, Mission: Impossible 7 has been pushed further back, from November 2021 to May 2022. Take note of Paramount’s careful handling of these movies versus their treatment of turd sequel Coming 2 America.
Anyway, here’s that epic fucking trailer again.
