WELLER FINALLY JOINS ROBODOC

This is probably going to be the best movie documentary ever assembled.  When I first heard of this I kind of had a (wrong) feeling that RoboDoc would be some type of moderately well funded fan dream project.  But it really isn’t.

And it doesn’t even stop at the first movie.  INFO:

Until recently, it featured every possible name associated, except for Peter Weller.  For a long time, he refused to be in it.  This is what the producer said:

Dr. Peter Weller declined several requests to be interviewed for this film. We must respect his wishes. We have acquired archive interviews (both old and new) that are to be featured in the final film.

Now though, Deadline says that Weller is on board and that because of that, the documentary has finally wrapped up:

Following a long journey to screen, RoboCop deep-dive documentary RoboDoc has wrapped filming after securing a lengthy interview with the original film’s star Peter Weller.

Now we play the waiting game…
