Bruce Willis is going to re-team with John Travolta for the first time since Pulp Fiction. They’ll star in the action movie Paradise City.
In the movie, Willis will play a bounty hunter who heads to Miami. He works his way through the crime underworld with a view to meting out revenge to mob kingpin John Travolta. So the film has a sturdy premise and cast.
But who is making it?
Chuck Russell is the director. Perhaps last known for vigilante revenger I Am Wrath, also starring John Travolta. But don’t forget, he also directed arguably Arnold Schwarzenegger’s last great solo movie Eraser, way back in 1996.
Unfortunately, some of the people behind Willis’ trail of VOD misery are also on board this one, e.g. Corey Large, producer of trash like Cosmic Sin and Vice. Large will also co-star, as part of Willis’ posse group, which one could reasonably predict means that he’ll fill in for Willis’ screen time.
