CARPENTER WANTS TWO MORE PLISSKEN MOVIES

It’s been 25 years since we’ve seen an Escape movie, with Kurt Russell.  Will there ever be another?

Recently, John Carpenter spoke to Total Film (via Games Radar) and said he could see two more stories in which Snake Plissken might return:

“He’s a character that Kurt is passionately fond of. He convinced me to do the sequel. There’s probably a third or maybe even fourth story about Snake. I don’t know if we’ll ever make it, but I think that he deserves it.”

It’s doubtful though.  Would Kurt Russell return to the role at age 70?  Probably not.  And what about John Carpenter, age 73, who hasn’t directed in 10 years?

But who knows.  If Harrison Ford can return to Indiana Jones aged 79, then maybe Russell can do something similar.
