AMID NEW LAWSUIT CONTROVERSY, STALLONE MUST DISTANCE HIMSELF FROM DIRECTOR

Recently on his official discussion forums, Sylvester Stallone has been giving praise to The Suicide Squad director James Gunn.  However, is it time for Sylvester Stallone to distance himself from Gunn?  In the past, Gunn has made pedophile-grained Tweets, which were just a ‘joke’.

It died down.  But now it’s back.  Gunn has been named in a new lawsuit against singer James Euringer, where it is alleged Euringer sexually assaulted a victim over three years.  According to TheMix.net:

The Suicide Squad director James Gunn has been named in a lawsuit against Mindless Self Indulgence lead singer James Euringer aka Jimmy Urine for hosting a “pedophile themed party.

It goes on to say:

In a section of the summons titled “Euringer is a Self-Identified and Self-Promoted Pedophile,” The Suicide Squad director James Gunn’s name comes up.

The summons reads, ” Knowledge and reports of Euringer’s pedophilia continue to circulate to this day. Recently, pictures of Euringer’s wife, Chantal, and a man wearing a masked full-body rabbit suit at a pedophile themed party surfaced publicly.”

“Upon information and belief, the man wearing the rabbit suit is Euringer. The party was hosted by director James Gunn, and upon information and belief, attendees to the party were encouraged to dress like pedophiles and abuse victims, such as children.”

There are more gruesome details in the article, which are not fit for replication here.  So it again prompts the question; should Sylvester Stallone turn down any offers to appear in another movie made by James Gunn?

In addition, will James Gunn now be fired by Disney, permanently this time?  If not, what does this say about politics and creative freedom within the western movie industry?
