MEL GIBSON JOINS JOHN WICK SERIES

How about this for some news?  Mel Gibson is joining the John Wick prequel series.  A franchise that is (mostly) superb is about to excel even more.  According to Deadline:

Mel Gibson has been set to star in The Continental, the prequel to the Keanu Reeves film series John Wick. The Continental will be presented as a three-night special-event TV series, produced for Starz by Lionsgate Television.

Titled The Continental, it will explore the origin behind the hotel-for-assassins story.  Ian McShane will not appear in this show, however he has not ruled out voice work.  One thing is for sure, Lord Gibbo will give such a fledgling TV series the ballast it would need right out of the gate.  And of course, he fits the series perfectly.

But then, what doesn’t Mel suit?
