ECKHART JOINS NEW RENNY HARLIN ACTIONER

Renny Harlin is still out there doing movies.  Most of it has been work he has done in Asia in the last seven or so years, however Millennium has acquired his services again for a new actioner.  The Bricklayer will tread similar steps as The Expendables 4 and film in Greece and Bulgaria.

Says Deadline:

Someone is blackmailing the CIA by assassinating foreign journalists and making it look like the agency is responsible. As the world begins to unite against the U.S., the CIA must lure its most brilliant – and rebellious – operative out of retirement, forcing him to confront his checkered past while unraveling an international conspiracy.

The operative is Aaron Eckhart, returning to Millennium with Gerard Butler (who will only produce).  It is said that Millennium wants to turn this one into a franchise.

Harlin is a good film maker.
