Regarding the latest phase of the war in Ukraine, the Russian intervention, we now have some commentary from a man in the know. Steven Seagal is a dual citizen on the United States and Russian Federation, and now he has spoken.
“Most of us have friends and family in Russia & Ukraine,” the action star told Fox News Digital on Monday. “I look at both as one family and really believe it is an outside entity spending huge sums of money on propaganda to provoke the two countries to be at odds with each other.”
“My prayers are that both countries will come to a positive, peaceful resolution where we can live & thrive together in peace,” he added.
Sensei Seagal is in fact banned from Ukraine and has been for five years. Incidentally, the ban, which was cited as a response to him being a ‘threat to national security’, was set to last five years. It should be ending about now.
