Here’s a trailer for a movie with Mel Gibson in it… some guy robbing a bank! Bandit is released soon.
Synopsis: After escaping from a Michigan prison, a charming career criminal assumes a new identity in Canada and goes on to rob a record 59 banks and jewellery stores while being hunted by a police task force.
Directed by Allan Ungar, it stars Josh Duhamel and covers the real-life story of Gilbert Galvan Jr.
According to THR, Robert De Niro is re-teaming with Wag the Dog director Barry Levinson for mob thriller Wise Guys.
The story follows Vito Genovese and Frank Costello, two Italian-American crime bosses that ran their respective families. It’ll be the first theatrical feature production for the new Warner Bros/Discovery regime.
Here is some footage from Steven Seagal’s upcoming documentary about the War in Ukraine. Seagal breaks from the western mainstream and offers an alternate view, pointing out atrocities committed by the Ukranian establishment.
There isn’t much word on what else is going to be featured in this documentary, however as I noted a while back Steven Seagal appears to be done with movies and is retired, having moved on from that part of his life.
Here’s the trailer for Wire Room, starring Bruce Willis and Kevin Dillion. If nothing else, two respectable actors. Old Bruno got a few of these in the can before calling it a day, but we can view them through a different prism now, considering the duress he was under while essentially finishing up his career.
Synopsis: While on wire room duty, a federal agent listens in as the target is attacked in his home by a hit squad. Without burning the wire, he must protect the investigation and the target’s life from the confines of a room fifty miles away.
Directed by Matt Eskandari.
