Here’s a video with Stephen Lang talking about his time working with Steven Seagal.
Lang worked with The Master in 1997’s Fire Down Below, a manly movie the likes of which you’ll rarely see any more. In the peaceful Appalachian hills of eastern Kentucky, Seagal played a man out to take down pissants poisoning the earth with toxins, while beating up Stephen Lang for being a pervy gangster.
Seagal also had to take on the FBI in a firefight, because he did not like the cut of their corrupt jib.
Lang says he instigated a six feet rule, where Seagal was not allowed to approach him on set. This is possibly because Coach Seagal is known to kick men in the nuts at random, likely to harden them up or to keep their sense of alertness keen.
