Die Hard 5 shocks with decent trailer

This trailer just hit.  And I’m a bit surprised.  It looks better than expected.  I rate John Moore as a director, but not as an individual director.  He’s a studio director, that means he’ll do what he’s told and do a reasonably good job of it.  That gets him work.  Unfortunately, this is a Die Hard movie.  The great untouchable, and it deserves better than a yes-man, talented or not.  Strangely, even after DHINO (If you aren’t aware, this is a name adopted for the last movie – Die Hard in Name Only), and even with a stupid premise being directed by a yes-man, for me the jury is still out on this.  Firstly, we don’t know if it’ll be rated-R or not and secondly, the trailer is cool.  But the shittest movie in the world can have a good trailer.  I’m still convinced this will fail ultimately.
