Vincent Cassel Joins “Bourne 5”

It appears that the fifth movie in the Bourne franchise has scored its villain, or at least one of them.  French actor Vincent Cassel will appear in the movie which begins filming soon in Europe and Las Vegas.

Cassel will play an assassin tracking Matt Damon’s Jason Bourne in the film, the fourth time the series has employed a killer on the hunt for Bourne – Clive Owen, Karl Urban and Edgar Ramirez played the previous three.  I’m kind of bummed that they’d go there yet again with that story, I’d hoped Bourne would be the hunter this time.

Julia Stiles, Alicia Vikander and Tommy Lee Jones are also on board for the film which Greengrass co-wrote with Christopher Rouse. Filming begins shortly ahead of a July 29th 2016 release.
