Doom Gets ‘Aliens’ Makeover

Apparently the Alien is all the rage these days once again, with not one but two movies in the pipeline (if we’re lucky) and neither of them being no stinkin’ reboot.  Now there is more to come.  If you’re of certain age, you’ll probably not only have fond memories of the Alien franchise, but also the Doom franchise.

How about crossing them over?  One man is way ahead of us.

The celestial battle for survival returns now, with Aliens: The Ultimate Doom [BETA 8.0]! I plan on greatly expanding this level, and use it as an official map for Aliens: The Ultimate Doom. I intend on making the map feel like an open-world survival horror.

Doom is getting the LV4-26 treatment courtesy of a mod to the original game.  Good to know.  By the way there’s a new Doom game out this year, I got into the Beta by chance, but didn’t actually get to test it, they had designated hours to try it and I kept missing them.  But man it looks good.
