The GOAT has been hanging out at Cannes recently. Obviously promoting his new manly movie Blood Father. Above is a new interview conducted on French TV, but with English dubbing. Jean-François Richet is the director and second man being interviewed there.
Mel says he first appeared at Cannes 33 years ago and that he was drawn to Jean-François Richet because of the Mesrine movies (which are fucking great) and that he’ll play a man with many sins on his back. He also celebrates Mad Max: Fury Road as ‘spectacular’.
This is a fun interview and clearly the two guys get along, typical Gibson-ry. Blood Father is released 26 August 2016 (USA), is rated R and will run for 90 minutes.
