The New T-1000 Has Supposedly Been Cast?

I must admit that I’ve never heard of this person ’till now, but Byung Hun Lee is rumored to be playing a T-1000 in the new Terminator movie.  A fairly authentic looking casting sheet has been leaked onto Reddit and it has Lee pegged for the role.

But not so fast.  In the scene detailed, Lee is playing what is described as ‘Cop/T-1000’.  We all know the T-1000 in Terminator 2 was played by several actors as it morphed from one form to another, so it’s possible that Lee is playing a temporary manifestation of the character.  However it is likely that it is him considering how TheHollyWood reporter described his role as highly secretive.  Not something you’d describe a bit role being.

The sheet also describes the use of a T-1000 dummy which suggests that at least some form of practical effects will be deployed.  This news comes after Aaron Williamson inadvertantly revealed himself as playing a T-800 in the movie.

But anyway, discounting that ultra shitty T-1000 from the TV series (actually called the T-1002), it’s kinda weird all these years later to see someone else take on the Robert Patrick role.
