Eva Green: Bond Must Be A Man

There is always talk of giving James Bond a forced female reboot.  Given how many of those are coming down the pipe there are these days, who would really be surprised?  Former Bond girl Eva Green, however, objects.

Speaking with Vanity Fair, she said she doesn’t have any ideas on who should replace Craig but is set on the character remaining a man:

“I’m for women, but I really think James Bond should remain a man. It doesn’t make sense for him to be a woman. Women can play different types of characters, be in action movies and be superheroes, but James Bond should always be a man and not be Jane Bond. There is history with the character that should continue. He should be played by a man.”

Daniel Craig is still slated to play Bond once more in a final movie.  In fact filming is supposed to begin next month.
