ODENKIRK IN ‘NOBODY’ TRAILER

Come on now… who can honestly look at this trailer and not see that this is a rip off of… the life of Sensei Steven Seagal?!  It is the trailer for Nobody, starring Bob Odenkirk.

Synopsis: A bystander who intervenes to help a woman being harassed by a group of men becomes the target of a vengeful drug lord.

Directed by Ilya Naishuller, the film is released 5 March 2021.  It looks like Odenkirk wants to take a shot at rebranding himself as a manly actor, in the same way that Liam Neeson did with Taken.  However, I’m not convinced.  Honestly, when Odenkirk threatened those train pissants and they laughed in his face, they kind of had a point.

Neeson, a former boxer, carries a certain intensity and can beat people to death convincingly.  Maybe Odenkirk can convince otherwise in the full movie.

Which should’ve starred Steven Seagal.
