TV NEWS: STALLONE, KICKBOXER…

KICKBOXER

They’re turning Kickboxer into a TV series.  The Fast and the Furious writer and Las Vegas creator Gary Scott Thompson set to create the show.

Titled Operation: Kickboxer, it shall be a martial arts-driven espionage series in which Michael Sloan is sent undercover by the intelligence services to compete in various MMA bouts and tournaments, to earn his freedom from the former.

Along the way, Sloan develops a desire to win his bouts for real and for himself.

STALLONE/BEAR GRYLLS SERIES

What a TV pairing this is going to be.  Sylvester Stallone is teaming with survival documentary star and former special forces operative Bear Grylls and production powerhouse Endemol Shine North America for a new genre-bending, high-adrenaline, hybrid unscripted adventure series. Stallone, Grylls, Kourosh Taj and Carrie Keagan executive produce according to  C21 Media.

The show as of yet does not have a title, but it surely already has potential.
