DETAILS ON NEW VAN DAMME ACTIONER

You don’t see Jean Claude Van Damme touted on the bigger Hollywood movie sites these days too much.  Maybe getting a mention for a new actioner in Deadline is a sign about its budget/potential?

He’ll star in Silent Kill, a found-riches action thriller set in the jungle.

Anthony Hickox (Hellraiser III) wrote the screenplay and will direct the film, which will follow four mercenaries who find a hidden treasure in the Congo. They bury it and agree to meet back at the same spot in three years and split the fortune evenly, but things take a different turn.

Mind you, there are no other ‘names’ attached to this, not really, other than Van Damme himself.  Hopefully they’ll film it in realistic locations too.
