Jason Statham In The Transporter 4 After All?

So then.  The new Transporter movie.  What do we know about that?  Well it’ll be called The Transporter 4 and will star Ed Skrein as a young Frank Martin.  A prequel, but then called The Transporter 4 (according to The Hollywood Reporter) at the same time?

Like the new 300 movie, maybe it’ll act as both prequel and sequel?

Well a new rumor suggests that Jason Statham will appear in the movie.  First of all, take it with a grain of salt and then some, because it’s from Bulgarian media.  Secondly, what it actually says is that Statham will film a chase sequence where he, Frank Martin, will be hired to Transport something in a high speed motorboat to Turkey.

The source says the writers of ‘The Transporter’, on the advice of how well the filming of Sniper 5 (which we reported on and exclusively revealed here) and Survivor turned out in Bulgaria, producers will shoot the movie there.  So what’s actually happening here?  Is Statham in the movie or not?  Our bet is they’ve gotten it 50% right and wrong.  Chances are the movie could head to Bulgaria to shoot but the scene they’re talking about is written for Ed Skrein.
