Jackie Chan’s New Action Thriller

It seems that Jackie Chan has another big (ish) action movie lined up, alongside Dragon Blade, which is a huge Chinese prodction.  Over at TheActionElite, news is spotted that the action star will appear in ‘Civilian’, an upcoming English language thriller.

The film is set to be produced by Basil Iwanyk’s Thunder Road label.

The action follows a salesman who finds himself in the middle of a terror attack at arms convention and will shoot in Johannesburg, South Africa, early 2015.  Good to see Chan still has momentum as some of his western contemporaries begin to struggle somewhat in this day and age.

Chan is also set to star in US-Chinese action adventure “Skiptrace,” alongside Fan Bingbing and Seann William-Scott. He is also rumoured to be circling additions to the “Karate Kid” and ‘Rush Hour” franchises.  I must say I prefer Chan in serious roles, never much got into his comedy.  So I’m looking for to this and Dragon Blade…
