A Thanks From ManlyMovie

Time for an annual sitrep.  We wish to extend Season’s Greetings to all of our supporters and readers, but also a huge thank you as well.

This site was launched in earnest summer 2013, I wasn’t sure whether it would stand the real test of surviving 2014 since 90% of websites do not survive the first three months, but I am glad to say that we’re still around.  That is in large part down to our fans and supporters.

A lot of the time I get tips via email etc that allows us to stay up to speed and provide everyone with updates on this increasingly maligned genre.  The usual people know who they are, it would be much harder without them.

Thanks for the messages of support and encouragement as well, it’s easier to update a site when people tell you to keep going and remind you that a void is being filled and that has happened a lot this year.

We have some big plans for 2015, possibly too big!  Don’t want to say too much yet since bigger plans have bigger falls and require more time and this is obviously a ‘part time’ site/venture.  To that end, I am keeping an eye open for new contributors/editors to facilitate this expansion.  If that sounds like you, shoot me an email.

The over all game plan for 2015, keep it real, pull no punches and expand the war front by attempting a breakout from the girlie-man encirclement of manly movies!
