Mad Max: Fury Road Australian Set Pictures + Plot Speculation

We have some pictures of the Australian set of Mad Max: Fury Road, courtesy of MMM.com forum member KevNerd: “Saw a heap of MM4 vehicles at Penrith lakes last weekend plus heaps of film trucks and what looked like some fake cliffs made from shipping containers, lots of huge green screens around the rock walls and some of the vehicles where moving about. I was a long way away but you could hear the V8’s sounded awesome.”  The tanker pictured is central to the plot, or at least an important part of it, that much we know.  What the plot actually is…good question.  One rumor suggests that the movie is one giant chase sequence, featuring the tanker. 

Another suggests that a ‘fortress’ will be central to the plot, owned by primary villain ‘Immortan Joe’.  What’s interesting is that a character called Immortan Joe is definitely in the movie (pictured below), and he is played by Hugh Keays-Byrne, who played The ToeCutter in the first movie.  Is that proof of a remake?
