Shane Black’s Next Movie – Nice Guys
Shane Black, writer of Lethal Weapon, is teaming up with Joel Silver to release Nice Guys, summer 2016.
The story revolves around a private detective and a muscle-for-hire who are brought together to investigate the case of a missing girl and the seemingly unrelated suicide of a fading porn star. Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe became attached to the project.
Black wrote the screenplay with Anthony Bagarozzi and will direct.
This will be Black’s second directorial duty for a detective movie after Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. Hopefully Predator will feature into his schedule after this for a 2017 release, before Doc Savage, which is also on his agenda.
