Anyone been keeping up with Kevin Tancharoen’s Twitter? Well, he has revealed on it that he’s stepping away from the big Mortal Kombat reboot. I somehow doubt this was a decision of his own, like he’s making out. His ‘grounded reality’ Mortal Kombat mini series was just not that good, at a guess I’d say he was respectfully let go. Good news, in my honest opinion, the dull legacy of Nolan’s overrated Batman series definitely left its mark. No word of who will replace him, but New Line will reportedly have a budget of $50-60 million for the movie.
Back to development hell?
After 3 years of Kombat,I’ve decided to move on to other creative opportunities. I wish everyone involved in the movie big success. Thanks!
