The Rock Wants To Be Expendables Villain
During a recent Reddit AMA session, The Rock took a question on whether or not he’d be willing to appear in The Expendables series. His answer was positive in more ways than one. See his answer below.
“If you’re asking if I would consider being in the EXPENDABLES franchise – then the answer is yes. BUT.. I don’t want to be on their team and be buddies with them. F*ck that noise. I want to hunt every single one of them down and tell them to “send your soul to heaven cause your ass is mine.” Rousey lives cause she’d be my characters training partner and Crews lives as well cause my character would need someone to compete at pec popping with.”
I think that The Rock is correct here in a certain sense in that there are too many good guys in The Expendables series. He’d also make a great villain. But someone else wants in on the action too. Steven Seagal doesn’t seem to rule it out:
“I’m open to anything and we’ll see. Sly has called me a couple of times and talked about it, so let’s see what happens. You never know.”
An unstoppable Rock and Seagal team up, in an R-rated Expendables 4? Sadly, very unlikely.
