Sony Pictures are evidently confident with their WW2 tank thriller “Fury”, created by David Ayer. Because they have moved it forward one month from late November to October 17th 2014.
The reason for this is to give the movie a longer run in the awards campaign so it seems that they think they have a winner on their hands. Which lines up with our recent reports of positive test screenings with Ayer having to change very little of the movie at all. Brad Pitt even brought his father along to a screening last week. “Argo” and “12 Years A Slave” acquired awards during this timeslot in recent years.
“Fury” also stars Shia LeBeuof and Jon Bernthal and tells the story of a tank crew moving through Germany at the end of the war.
