De Niro In New Road Trip Comedy

On the horizon is a possible comedy starring Zac Efron and Robert De Niro who might soon share the screen in a new movie that’ll see them play grandson and grandpa.

In movie “Dirty Grandpa”, which will be a road trip comedy, “Efron will play a young man who is tricked into driving his grandfather (De Niro), a perverted former Army general who thinks the woman his grandson is about to marry is unworthy, to Florida for spring break, says THR.

The project was originally set up at Universal but is now being packaged and pimped by QED.  Dan Mazer (“I Give it a Year”) directs.  Sounds like it has the makings of an R-rated yarn…
