The 30th anniversary of The Terminator was celebrated last week with a special screening of the movie. Due to feature both Arnold Schwarzenegger and James Cameron were due to entertain fans. Schwarzenegger didn’t show up due to illness, but he wasn’t fucking fans over, he filmed a message from his sickbed looking half dead. Also celebrating was a panel featuring some of the cast and crew from the first three movies at the Texas Frightmare event.
Also, during the screening, when asked about the movie, Cameron remarked on the new movie:
“I’m friendly with the filmmakers, the writer Laeta Kalogridis has worked with me on projects,” he said. “I’m hoping it’s great. I’d like them to get it right, and based on the script that I read there’s a pretty good chance that it could. It looks like it could be fun.”
Check out the video featuring Michael Biehn, Robert Patrick and others from the panel from the 2014 Texas Frightmare Weekend. Check out the nerd posing a stereotypical nerdlinger question at 44:00, like something straight from The Simpsons.
