Stallone Calls PG-13 Expendables 3 ‘Horrible Miscalculation’

I said in September that Stallone needs to take ownership of the PG-13 fiasco, at least in part.  Admit that it was wrong.  And that if he did, it probably wouldn’t happen until the Blu-Ray was officially out the gate.  Well that is just what has happened.  Sylvester Stallone has shit on PG-13 Expendables 3.  And claims that it won’t happen again.

Asked by CraveOnline if all Expendables movies should be ‘R’ from the ground up, Stallone responds:

Absolutely unequivocally yes. I believe it was a horrible miscalculation on everyone’s part in trying to reach a wider audience, but in doing such, diminish the violence that the audience expects. I’m quite certain it won’t happen again. 

I think with that, we can let Stallone out of the doghouse.  He admitted that the decision was bogus, which wasn’t necessary.  The Bulgarians also stated earlier in the year that Stallone will not film another Expendables movie there.  If we get a fourth, and I think we will, we could just end up back in manly movie territory…
