Bale Confesses: Terminator Salvation ‘Did Not Work’

While promoting Exodus, his upcoming biblical Ridley Scott-directed epic, Christian Bale was quizzed, confronted if you like, on Terminator: Salvation.  It wasn’t a great movie and it was a terrible Terminator movie.  Christian Bale agrees basically, this week responding to a mention of the movie with the admission that “it didn’t work”.  Check out his words in the video below.

I can respect that.  It didn’t work.  We don’t really need to go through the whys and hows, but it’s damned sure refreshing to have the lead guy admit to it.  Cards on the table here, when they cast Bale, I thought Terminator: Salvation was in with a shot at not being shit.  I’m not really a fan of the guy, but I think he’s a decent actor and in 2008 especially, had severe clout in Hollywood.  Will Jason Clarke and the makers of Terminator: Genisys achieve what Bale and co. did not?
