Weaver Calls Avatar Sequels Artwork “Mind Blowing”

Well I am not sure whether or not many would class Avatar as manly movies as such, but since the upcoming sequels are directed by none other than James Cameron himself I think we can run a small update on this.  Cameron regular Sigourney Weaver will of course make a return in these sequels, alongside Stephen Lang.  And with delays finally out of the way Weaver is now preparing for work on these huge movies.

She has said this week that Cameron’s artwork alone is “mind blowing”, when asked whether or not such a huge undertaking was intimidating or exciting:

“I think both (laughs). I can’t wait, I have a wonderful part that he’s written for me, and it’s a part that’s gonna go through a lot of changes. I’ll be curious to see how he can just logistically manage to shoot all three films at once. But I’m very excited to be part of this continuing message he wants to bring our planet. From the artwork he’s shown me, it’s just mind-blowing. And frankly the more time he takes with these scripts, probably the better movies they’ll be.”

In 2013 there was a rumour going around that Arnold Schwarzenegger had a role lined up in one of these movies, which was later debunked.  But boy… what a rumour!  If only that one would come to fruition.
