The Rock Wants Stallone In Furious 8

We all know that Sylvester Stallone wants The Rock in The Expendables franchise.  That figures, everyone wants The Rock in their franchise.  I don’t think that’s going to happen, The Rock pretty much confirmed it last year.  Although he also did say, jokingly, that if he did come aboard, he’d have to be an unstoppable baddie who kills half the cast (perfect idea IMO).

But what about Sylvester Stallone appearing in the glossier Expendables, otherwise known as the Fast & Furious series?  In the words of Jean Luc Picard, make it so, says The Rock.  Well sort of, another kind of throwaway comment.

But interesting.  Obviously, it would probably be a Kurt Russell type role.  If it did happen, which it most likely won’t.  I think Stallone is his own worst enemy in securing roles like this, maybe if he hadn’t insisted on the last two Expendables movies being camp and goofy, and more like Rambo IV, he’d be sought for movies like this.
