Bautista Joins ‘Warrior’s Gate’

Dave Bautista looks to be getting ever more busy when it comes to action-orientated movies these days.  Alongside the likes of SPECTRE/Bond 24 and Kickboxer, another is EuropaCorp and Fundamental Films’ ‘Warrior’s Gate’.

The story follows a teenager who is magically transported to China and learns to convert his video game skills into those of a Kung Fu warrior.

Uriah Shelton, Mark Chao and Ni Ni also star. Matthias Hoene helms the film from a script by Besson and Robert Kamen. Filming begins in China on May 4th, which could also suggest stronger promotion in China as well for a ‘smallish’ type of movie, which can pay good returns.
