Stallone Rules Out Pacquiao From Expendables 4

For the past six months or so there have been rumors that Manny Pacquiao would show up in The Expendables 4.  I always thought that rumor was sourced to one of those sites that spin sheer shit, the ones covered in ‘This one amazing weight loss trick’ panels.

Well yeah, it pretty much is bogus.  Sylvester Stallone Tweeted “Pacquiao was never going to be in it. He’s a great fighter, but we’ve got to stick to broken down actors.” It’s presently unknown who will direct the project or when production will begin.  A series for TV is also on the cards, so maybe that will come first.

Good to see Stallone recognise that only decrepit actioners are needed though, as opposed to professional fighters.  See how that turned out in The Expendables 3?
