Prison Break Returning?

Ten years or so ago Prison Break was among the best stuff on television, along with The Sopranos and the first few series of Lost that is.  Prison Break had four seasons, the first two were amazing, the second two were atrocious.  I highly recommend checking it out and signing off at the end of season two.

Fox though appears to want to show us more.  Along with the X-Files and 24 both getting limited runs, Prison Break could be returning as well.

Per Joblo it appears to be moving ahead.  A closed finish deal too, which is good.  It means that it won’t write itself into oblivion trying to set things up for more seasons.  I wonder if True Detective’s serial format has had an influence on these new limited run TV ideas?

Anyway, the original Prison Break had a man framed for murder and put on death row, followed by his genius brother getting himself placed in the same prison in order to bust him out before the death sentence.  I wonder how they’ll follow this up…
