Bone Tomahawk Picked Up In North America

Some news on Kurt Russell’s potentially manly upcoming western here.  RLJ Entertainment has acquired U.S. and Canadian rights to Bone Tomahawk, which also stars Patrick Wilson and Matthew Fox.  The western will premiere at Fantastic Fest next month.

S. Craig Zahler helmed the project about an unlikely team of gunslingers who set out to bring a group of settlers home after they’re kidnapped by ruthless cannibal savages.

So this is one of two westerns Russell will appear in this year, the other of course being The Hateful Eight, appearing this Christmas.  It seems to be a good year for Kurt Russell, he appeared in Furious 7 which was a monstrous (if not too well executed) success.
