Eastwood’s ‘Line Of Fire’ Headed To TV

What is up with so many movie franchises being converted for television?  I honestly can’t keep track, but even if they all aren’t good ideas in theory, something has to work out at some point.  Maybe Clint Eastwood’s 1990’s thriller In The Line Of Fire could be the one.

The movie is getting the small screen treatment by Sony Pictures TV production and will tell of a secret service agent and his female partner who get caught up in a game of cat-and-mouse with a rogue CIA hitman who threatens to take down the POTUS.

What are the odds that the rogue CIA hitman is some sort of conservative patriot?  Some type of Trump-ite?!  This story was originally reported on Deadline.com.
