After Keanu Reeves completes work on the sequel to John Wick, Deadline reports that the actor will once again head over to Asia for Rally Car, a new action film from writer Jeremy Lott, who also scripted Sony’s Robin Hood movie, Hood.
Rally Car will be an American and Chinese co-production, with the film set entirely in China. Reeves will play an American race car driver, and while no other plot details are known at this time, the story is being compared to the 1981 classic The Cannonball Run, in which a variety of competitors participate in a dangerous cross-country race.
Reeves has also said that he’s interested in doing Speed 3. Now wouldn’t that be a way to keep his action movie career on its current high?
