Only Good Scene In: Buffalo Soldiers (2001)

I have thought of a new post type for this site.  Too many movies are otherwise dull, too average or downright awful to watch, but still have that one good scene in them that just has to be watched.  But at the same time, is not enough to justify sitting through the entire movie.  There are many movies with that deal.  The first that I am going to add here is a scene from the 2001 movie Buffalo Soldiers.

Now this is a Cold War comedy with a stellar cast.  Including Ed Harris, Scott Glenn and Joaquin Phoenix.

However the movie is kind of, you know, not entirely engaging throughout.  But it still has one good scene in the middle, one that former tankers will surely appreciate, in the form of a tank rampage through a small German town.  It is actually funny, what do you know.  But if you took it as being representative of the movie as a whole, you would be wrong.

So here is the only good scene in: Buffalo Soldiers.  The gas station explosion… great scene.
