Pitt Heads New WW2 Spy Movie

Following his recent role in WW2 thriller ‘Fury’ (great movie), it looks like Brad Pitt is going to return to the era in Robert Zemeckis’ upcoming movie.

The story is an original idea from Steven Knight, who is best known for several other unique films, including Eastern Promises and Locke, which are great and decent. When including Knight’s great writing talents in addition to the director you’d think that it could make for good viewing.

But not so fast, the movie revolves around a love affair between Pitt and his newly married German woman, who turns out to be a spy who he is then tasked to kill.  So I suppose the quality could depend on how much romantic crap is in there.

To be honest the only good indicators here are that Robert Zemeckis is directing and Knight is writing.
