I didn’t think Mad Max: Fury Road could be topped this year, check out the review of that movie here, but something else lurks at the 11th hour. The Revenant looks so damned good, it could yet snag manliest movie of 2015.
In a further hint that they mean business, the film will run for 156 minutes, so it could really be a sublime feast.
The Revenant is inspired by the legendary explorer Hugh Glass. Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Hardy, Domhnall Gleeson and Will Poulter will star and it has been directed and co-written by renowned filmmaker and Academy Award winner Alejandro G. Iñárritu.
