R.I.P. Robert Loggia

One of the better manly movie actors out there has passed away.  R.I.P. Robert Loggia.  Born Salvatore Loggia (he should’ve kept that manly first name), he passed away yesterday from complications of Alzheimer’s disease at his home in Brentwood, California at the age of 85.

But enough negative shit, time to remember the good stuff this guy gave us.  Scarface is probably the most remembered, his role as Frank Lopez, but he should not be forgotten for his many other classic supporting roles.

A personal favourite of mine is Robert Loggia’s role as Feech La Manna in The Sopranos, the greatest television show of all time.  Loggia entered the show, by then on a serious roll, and effortlessly holds his own against the brilliant cast.
