Terminator: Genisys Sequel Officially Cancelled

Well gents, it looks like the terror has finally been put to bed.  According to the DailyMail, the movie has been pulled from Paramount’s schedule and, in fact, ‘Baywatch’ has been put in its place.

The news was announced at an event in Scotland, where Arnold Schwarzenegger was building up some money for charity.

While it’s not a sure fire bet so far – there’s a slim chance they might try to push out another one before then – it looks like the next stop for the Terminator series is back into Jim Cameron’s nurturing arms.  In 2019 he retains the rights, he made a brief half-joking remark that he might reboot the whole thing.

Only Cameron can nurture this battered and raped franchise back to something cool.

So this is good news.  Fans voted with their money, the movie was a box office bomb.  Some ultra fanboys/cultists were pushing hard for a sequel.  Attacking cool sites like Terminatorfans.com for calling it like it is, like sicking their cult Schwarzenegger stalkers on ’em.
