So the struggles of John McTiernan continue, and with some projects seemingly falling through, others come to light. Per Variety;
GLI is also launching sales at Berlin on John McTiernan’s action-thriller “Thin Rain.” He will direct from a script by Philip Shaw and Jeremy Sheldon in a story following a former American mercenary throughout Asia on a quest for redemption.
The project has its own IMDb page. But other than that, little else is known. Could it be that the director is headed to Asia and that they’re going to show this huge talent some respect? That’s what’s happening with Mel Gibson, as he’s currently linked to another WW2 movie in their industry.
Also, McTiernan will be at the 44th International Film Festival.
