Rare Pictures: Rambo’s Bike Chase

The bike chase in First Blood was simple, yet effective and thrilling. Maybe because they stuck to the basics is why it’s so good. It may not have been as outlandish as ramming a T-72 into a Hind-D, but it’s still great and probably better.

Below are some behind the scenes shots from First Blood, from the bike chase in particular.

It’s still the best Rambo movie if you ask me. I’m not sure how long these have been online, but they’re new to me. The bike is a Yamaha XT-250, with a dubbed sound. The bike alternates between hero bike and stunt bike, depending on the terrain.
