What, There’s An Alien King Now?

Maybe the coolest thing to emerge from yesterday’s ‘Alien Day’ was the unveiling of a new Alien King, although I’m sure some might call it blasphemy.

Sideshow Collectibles will release the new figure, although it’s unclear whether it’ll make it into either of the two new movies.  I’m not sure how it would work though, aren’t all male aliens supposed to be drones?  Although who knows, since they’re basically genetically modified bio weapons, perhaps it is possible.

It isn’t the first time a ‘King Alien’ has been floated.   A King Alien, or Rogue Alien toy already exists in the Kenner line, its design inspired by the Aliens: Rogue comics, this version is much more suited to collectors of the highest quality statues and figures.

Either way, this Alien renaissance we have going is kind of cool.  Check out the video below.
