Crews To Take On Trump In ‘Idiocracy’ Ads

A while back ‘Idiocracy’ co-creater Etan Cohen Tweeted, in response to Donald Trump’s rise, that he ‘never expected Idiocracy to become a documentary’.  He then followed up by contacting co-creator Mike Judge about helming some anti-Trump adverts.

According to a recent piece in Buzzfeed, Cohen contacted Judge soon afterwards and suggested they capitalize on the traction, and write campaign ads starring Terry Crews as President Camacho. The satirical ads would take aim at Trump, although Cohen and Judge are waiting for Fox to clear the rights for the character’s use. However,

“Throughout the process, Cohen and Judge have struggled to satirize Trump because he is already so outrageous. “If you’re making Idiocracy 2, and you’re trying to write whoever’s the heir to Camacho, if you put in Trump, it would be too silly to be in a movie,” Cohen explained.”

Cohen slammed Trump as ‘crazy’;

“This is what satire is for … to be able to hold up a mirror and say, ‘This is crazy,’” he said. “Idiocracy was like that, but this all of a sudden felt like a very immediate need for the true meaning of satire and what it can actually do.”

He also said;

“The most dangerous contrast to Trump is that Camacho actually realizes he needs advice from other people, and knows that he’s not the smartest guy in the room,” Cohen continued, noting that he would “definitely” vote for Camacho over Trump. “Also, not a racist.”

Well since big movie sites like Collider.com feel like they can veer away from entertainment coverage and give their readers political instruction; Trump is the Herald of Idiocracy, allow me to interject a warning much more dire than any of the above.  This week, we had the herald of atomic war as Hillary Clinton threatened war with Iran.

Threatened war with Iran.  As a campaign move!

Now whatever your opinions on Donald Trump, it is just astounding to me that people can complain about a temporary ban on Muslim immigration, but on the other support (or at least ignore) a lunatic threatening to launch the biggest war since WW2, one which would probably unleash at least two Chernobyls in the Gulf and a chemical weapons strike on America in retaliation.

You see, Hillary’s war on Iran – the excuse of which would be that they were seeking WMD no less, haven’t heard that one before – would mean that the Bushehr nuclear plant on the shores of the Persian Gulf would be destroyed or heavily damaged, creating a Fukushima-level event for the waters there, of which 20% of the world’s oil transport passes.  No tanker will pass through pure radiation and even if they were stupid enough to, their insurance companies wouldn’t let them.

The nuclear plant at Natanz, south of Tehran, would also be a target.  So we’d be looking at a Chernobyl-level event for the capital of Iran.  Now what do you think Iran’s response to all of this would be?  To lay down and take it?  I’m going to tell you that they certainly would not.

They’d start by launching MRBMs at Israel’s nuclear plant and trust me, Israel’s air defence is a laughing stock.  That would unleash hell on Israel and make it vacant property for the next 20,000 years.  And I bet Hillary Clinton doesn’t even know what MRBM stands for, hell, I bet the people applauding her threats (they applauded!) couldn’t even name the leader of Iran.

Other things would also happen, expect Iran’s mechanized forces to move on Baku, after it’s flattened of course, a major hub for the British economy (BP networking).

Iran doesn’t have nuclear weapons, but you can bet that they’re chemical-ready, and that they could and would retaliate against North America with an attack that would make 9/11 look like a minor incident.  And should we forget that China has warned potential aggressors against attacking Iran?  But oh, who cares about World War 3, some dude threatened to build a wall somewhere.

So really, when they say we’re living in a real Idiocracy, go ahead and watch this lunatic get applauded.  And in the meantime, we won’t hold our breath on Collider, movie site, calling out a presidential candidate threatening life on earth.  So while they’re planning to make videos mocking Trump with humour, here’s one for Hillary.

Slightly more serious, a movie about a nasty attack on L.A.   Who is laughing?
